Schedule a Trial Lesson
The following lesson slots are currently available: Mondays (7:00-8:00pm); Tuesdays (7:30-8:00pm); Wednesdays (7:30-8:00pm); Thursdays (6:30-8:00pm). Lesson slots are filled back to back and are subject to change. If you wish to be on the waiting list for additional slots, let Melanie know. There are never lesson times available on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday.
During the 30 minute consultation/trial lesson, Melanie will talk with the student about his/her musical goals, answer any questions about lessons, and begin teaching the student. Continuing students should come to the trial lesson with books/materials they are currently using/used in the past and, if possible, be prepared to play something (if you want to hear Melanie play, go to a concert). It is not required that you have an instrument already, but it is recommended that violin students have a violin if they want to begin learning to play (check the Links page for places to rent violins). The trial lesson is $20, cash only.
Please check Melanie's location (consider transportation) before scheduling a trial lesson. Students should arrive at the trial lesson at the scheduled time (there will be students before/after you and extra time cannot be given if you are early/late). Trial lessons cannot be rescheduled once the day and time have been confirmed.
